“Strand”

An abstract image I shot during late autumn. Minimalism, simplicity, and abstract beauty in one! I loved the robins egg blue background with the straight sunlit strand!

“Laser Tag”

I had some fun with lights in this image. Lots of color going in every direction. The first thought that came to my mind was laser Tag!
So, enjoy this colorful abstract light image!! 🙂

“Smoke on the Water” B&W

While going through and processing some images today, most of which are not abstract. I decided to convert a couple of the images to black white. This one is an abstract and gives me the feeling of smoke. Consequently the first words that came to my mind when searching for a title were “Smoke on the Water”. Now all I need is fire in the sky! 😉
Of course for those who know the song, you can understand how it is now stuck in my head for the rest of the evening LOL!

Beautiful black and white abstract image.

“Light Burst”

I hope everyone has had a fantastic weekend!! I thought I’d put up one of my latest abstracts this evening. It’s something really vibrant and strong, so not for the faint of heart! (Just Kidding) 😉
This image gave me the feeling of a super nova or strong burst of light. Yes, true , they aren’t really comparable!! Anyway, I hope you enjoy it, and can feel the beauty and strength it brings forth! A real burst of light!

“Abstract Photography”

As many of you all know. I’ve spent quite a bit of time doing abstract images this fall. I have really enjoyed doing them, and plan to continue with them as well as doing my usual landscape, nature, and other types of photography.
I think from what I can see. Abstracts are something that you either love or hate. Feel a connection to or just want to dismiss.
For me, each image can be seen and thought of in so many ways. They can tell many stories. I could tell you exactly what the images are of, where they were taken, what the weather was, etc., but that takes all the imagination out of it.
I prefer to leave my abstracts for each individual to put their own ideas or thoughts into it. Imagine whatever they want it to be.
I’ll leave you with some of my latest abstracts. See how you like them, or not. It’s all up to you! 🙂

Relax your mind, let it flow……
A free flowing black and white image……
A bright and vibrant abstract…..

“Caught in a Swirl”

This image is a bit different from my usual. I’m trying out a new type of image editing software for a new company.

All of my previous abstract images were done completely in camera. This one is different. I took a lovely autumn path, and gave it the look of being caught up in a complete swirl. A swirl of autumn! I’d be interested in hearing what you think. Image

“Patterns in the Sand”

It’s truly amazing what water, and wind can do in creating patterns in the sand. This image is one from the shores of Lake Michigan. I kept going along the shore to one beautiful pattern after another. Simply wonderful!!Image
